Dyeing to go abroad

28 Feb 2010 - When three colleagues were made redundant from a Leeds firm they did not believe that one day they would actually buy it out!

picture of world held in persons hands.

However, that is exactly what Sean O'Neal, Philip Cox and Graham Dixon did after they started their company Advanced Dyeing Solutions (a company that manufactures and refurbishes textile dyeing machines).

They bought out their employer in 2001 and have since then taken over another company too.

They supply new and refurbished machines all over the world and are in fact finding it hard to meet demand.

The majority of the company's business is the export of machines overseas. They sell the dyeing equipment to customers in Russia, China and Soth America who then use it to make clothing for well-known firms such as Nike, Next, Gap and H & M.

Advanced Dyeing Solutions continue to grow and expand. They currently occupy an office in Phase 1, a unit in Phase 2 Bretton Street and two large industrial units further down the road which are rented from a private landlord.
