Guide to completing the application form

  • If you can’t complete all the sections, just fill in categories that apply to your business.

  • Please complete the form by 4pm on Friday 31 August 2012.

  5. Does your organisation use low energy bulbs throughout your premises?
  6. Are motion sensors fitted in areas that are less frequently used?

  49. Energy reduction
  50. Energy is one of the larger variable costs associated with running a business. The Carbon Trust estimate that heating and hot water account, on average, for 60% of a business’s energy costs, and most could save up to 30% by implementing simple low cost measures.
  51. Water saving
  52. Businesses that have not previously tried to save water can typically cut water and effluent bills by 20% for little or no cost.
