Dewsbury College is a general further education college in North Kirklees that provides courses up to degree level, as well as recreational classes, to 2000 full time and 12,000 part time students.
Located on two campuses in Dewsbury and one campus in Batley, the college sits in the county of West Yorkshire, near Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield.
Dewsbury College has two Centres of Vocational Excellence in Digital Design, and Early Years and Playwork. The college also has a specialist art school, Batley School of Art & Design, which has a national reputation, and many awards and accolades for its staff and students' work.
With courses run in partnership with Leeds Metropolitan and Huddersfield Universities, Dewsbury College can offer a great range of subjects, equipment and facilities.
DC is rated in the top 25% of FE colleges nationally for success (student retention and achievement). Our own students rate their experience highly too: 98% of students are happy with their course.
