Being at the centre of the country and with excellent transport links, Batley and Dewsbury are easy to reach however you choose to travel.
Road
The M62 crosses the district giving access to both Batley and Dewsbury from junctions 26, 27 and 28 depending on which direction you’re travelling from. This also provides easy access to the M1, A1 and M6. Dewsbury is also served by National Express Coach routes.

Manchester International Airport offers flights from all parts of the UK as well as a large number of European and worldwide destinations. There is a direct rail link from Manchester to Dewsbury.
