The 2010 Dewsbury & Heavy Woollen Real Ale, Food & Music Festival is being organised by the Heavy Woollen District branch of CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, in partnership with many local organisations.

This is a special festival to commemorate the 1st CAMRA Beer Exhibition at Dewsbury Town Hall in 1975. As well as offering 70 of the best Yorkshire Real Ales in the region and 10 ciders, we will also be showcasing and promoting the best in local food and entertainment, all supported by local businesses.

Special features of the festival will be:

Reunion of people who were at the 1975 Exhibition Photo-exhibition from 1975 70 Real Ales sourced from Yorkshire brewers 10 Real Ciders Belgian beers Women Brewsters Bar Girl's Guide to Beer Tasting Session Hot and Cold Food Stalls Live Music Quiet Session (Fri pm) Well known Guest to open the Festival CAMRA members only session Charity fundraising event
