Batley Christmas Design Winners 2007

This years winners of the Batley Christmas Light Design Competition included Chloe Scrutton with her Santa Claus, Ryan Abbott with his Christmas Cracker, and Stuart Parkinson with his Snowman. Special thanks went to Batley Area Committee for their generosity towards the cost of the new lights. At the awards ceremony in the Resource Centre on Commercial Street, Councillors Peter O'Neill, Gwen Grailey, Shabir Pandor, along with Christmas Lights Committee members Richard Martin and Ralph Walshaw presented certificates to the winners to show appreciation for all the hard work they have achieved.
