Yorkshire in Bloom
Yorkshire in Bloom is a competition organised by the Royal Horticultural Society.
In 2006 we entered Dewsbury for the first time and won "The Best Newcomer to the Competition" and the "Silver" award in our category of "Town". 2007 saw both Batley and Dewsbury entering the competition and we were very pleased and proud to receive 'Silver' awards for both towns.
For 2008, our desire and determination to continue to achieve success in the competition has never been stronger, and once again the two towns are entering Yorkshire in Bloom. The 'In Bloom' teams for both Batley and Dewsbury are all excited and ready to go!
This year, we have rebranded the towns with 'Bloom in Batley' and 'Dig Dewsbury' slogans, so keep you eyes and ears to the ground for the latest projects, news and events for the competition.
