Bradford Road Floral Feature

Using the ring road floral display featured in the Dewsbury portfolio as a model, the Batley In Bloom team are already in the process of creating a similar feature along Bradford Road.

Bradford Road is an ideal situation for such a feature with which to celebrate and announce our entry into Yorkshire In Bloom as there is much passing traffic to and from Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Leeds and the M62.

We have chosen an area just outside the bus station which will be seen not only by motorists but also by pedestrians.

By creating this feature we are hoping to give a favourable impression of Batley to passers by and in so doing we hope to attract them into the town centre to enjoy the diverse shopping facilities, attractive heritage features and the beautiful town centre park.

During the course of the year we will be looking for sponsorship from local companies for a carved stone to sit within the feature which announces BATLEY IN BLOOM.
