Events at Bagshaw Museum
Bagshaw Museum at Wilton Park set in a stunning gothic mansion, built by a mill owner in Victorian times and set in 36 acres of parkland and ancient woodland, Bagshaw Museum has a range of collections from around the world, including Egypt, China, a rainforest, as well as the Wish You Were Here seaside exhibition and The Fabric of Batley exhibition, looking at local history through its mills, mansions and terraces.
This year staff at the Museum are tailoring certain of their summer events to the In Bloom theme.
As part of Batley of Batley in Bloom. Follow an art trail around the museum and Wilton Park seeking out floral decorations in the Victorian Building, flowery aspects of the museum's collections, and real flower power blossoming in the park. Find out about traditions relating to flowers around the world and share your blooming memories!
